will my sea monkey eggs hatch if i didnt stir the white stuff when you put the eggs in?

January 9, 2009 | 2:48 AMI never had much luck with sea monkey kits. But brine shrimp are easy. The bad news is that the ‘white stuff’ was probably salt, and without salt, you won’t get brine shrimp!

January 11, 2009 | 8:44 PMI’ve never had seamonkeys, but it was probably best to follow the instructions given on your package. If they didn’t say to stir it in, maybe you shouldn’t have.

January 13, 2009 | 10:24 AMThey should still hatch. The worst case would be that the hatching will be delayed, but I doubt by much. The stirring just helps the salts dissolve faster.
There will still be white stuff on the bottom that doesn’t dissolve, so don’t worry about that.
