Water purifying pitcher for 2.7 cu ft dorm fridge?

I’m looking for a water purifier that will fit in my mini fridge. Any good products? I don’t want to have to buy bottled water every week! Also, are the pitchers good enough that they can filter bathroom sink water, or do I need to get the water elsewhere? : )

November 25, 2008 | 11:59 AMbrita makes one that holds 6 cups. I only bought it cause it was $15 bucks and the rest were all like $30. It still takes up a lot of space. But I leave it on the counter if there is no space in my fridge. I can still filter water and put it in a smaller bottle and leave the smaller bottle in the fridge. And if my fridge isn’t full… it fits just fine.
