Sea-monkey help. water and purifier help?

I got some sea monkeys today, and had water sitting out for a day waiting for them. I put that water in their tank, and added the water purifier pack. It is dissolved. Can I add my monkeys now, or does the water purifier have to be in for 24 hours. The water has been sitting for 24 hours.
