Is it possible to attach a water filter to a shower head?
concretebrunette asked:
Our water here is so wierd. I don’t know if it’s too hard or what, but it smells like sulphur and doesn’t rinse soap completely away, which causes dry skin.
Is there such a product as a shower water filter? Attaching a regular sink filter would obviously NOT work.

June 7, 2008 | 3:07 AMYou can filter the water before it reaches the shower. It may be difficult to reach the pipes to replace the filter. You could install a small door on the side of the house to provide access to an installed line filter.

I would want to know where the sulfur smell is coming from, though - you might want to treat the incoming water, especially if it’s well water.
If you have city water, the smell may be from bacteria in the water heater.
