How To Filter Water From a Foreign Country?

I’ll be going to a foreign country this summer. Is there like a specific device I can buy to filter the water? I’d also like this device to get past airport security, I wouldn’t want it to be confiscated.

Buy it at the pharmacy.

October 7, 2007 | 3:52 PMboil the water, add ashes if salmonilla is still lingering and you wont feel it at all, it’ll just taste nasty, but you can add flavor packets

October 9, 2007 | 9:49 PMYou should not have any problems with taking a smaller basic filter with you. Nothing about it is illegal and therefore should not be confiscated. Even more advanced purification systems should casue no concern for airport security. But those sysems are a bit bigger. Usually about the size of a 2 liter bottle.
