good brand for water purifier?

I need a water purifier for cheap. I dont want to spend over 20$ where can I buy it? what’s a good brand? i was looking at brita ones and people gave it bad reviews saying the lid would come loose too frequently. If I can buy it online (link would be ideal answer)

February 1, 2009 | 8:00 PMPUR is a good brand. You can usually buy them at walmart for about 20-50 dollars depending on what stage you get. Plus you can buy little flavor cartridges. They also have water pitchers that purify water too.

February 2, 2009 | 3:19 AMIf you only have $20 to spend a jug like a brita one may be the only answer for you tho I have found a website which has lots of different types of filter and the pros and cons of each one - hopw this helps you to decide which is best for you
BTW I have a tower type filter which sits on my bench - the filter lasts me more than 6 months and I reckon is the best and cheapest option
Perhaps you may be able to pick one up on ebay or similar for the price you want to pay - it would be worth a try
