I guess I phrased my question wrong.
I want the alcohol seperated from everything else in the mouthwash. So I want everything else filtered out.

Nick asked: I changed the filter and followed the directions correctly, but now the water will only filter halfway, leaving a lot in the chamber unfiltered at the top.
It didn’t used to do this; I have the stage 1 filter system.
I’ve been trying to run lots of water through the filter, but it still stops once the water can’t fall into the bottom.

Dantes asked: (Los Angeles) Every now and then, the water in my brita water filter turns green at the bottom. I’ve cleaned the filter many times and changed the filter itself. Is my filter growing algae or something or is the filter not catching something coming out of my faucet?!!
This is the second time it’s happened and I have not exceeded the lifespan of both filters. Is this green stuff going to cause me to get sick? I may have drank a cup or two without noticing.
