Water purifier systems: Options to suit your needs.

What are your options in buying a water purifier?  There are many.  Even though there are many choices, it is not hard to decide which one will work for you and your family.  The choice you make depends on the need of your home and family.  What is important is having clean, healthy water to drink available for your family.

The first step in making the decision to add a water purifier to your home’s water supply would be to have your water tested or test it with a water testing kit.  Having the water in your home tested will help you make an informed decision about what kind of water filtration system you need in your home.  Because water purifier systems use various technologies for removing contaminates, you will need to know what contaminates you are dealing with in order to buy the right system.   Depending on the technology used, Water purifier systems can remove chlorine, bacteria, chemicals (like pesticides), metals, algae, fungi, and many other materials that contaminate your water.  With this little bit of testing and research of water filtration systems you will be able to feel more confident about your decision and the drinking water in your home.

Once you know what contaminates you are going to need to remove, you can choose whether you need a carbon water filter system, reverse osmosis system, fluoride water filters, or alkaline water ionizer system.  A carbon water purifier system will remove 99% of organic contaminates like, chlorine, lead, and micro-organisms.  The reverse osmosis filtration system takes it another step to remove 99% of bacteria, arsenic, chlorination, and asbestos as well as lead and micro-organisms.   There is also a way to put the proper alkaline balance into your water with an alkaline water ionizer which helps restore your own natural PH.

There are also a variety of water purifier styles available.  I am sure you have seen the filtration systems that attach right to your kitchen faucet.  That is only one of several ways to have cleaner water for your home.  There are other styles of systems like under the counter, counter top, In line (like for refrigerators), pitcher, portable, and whole house water purifier systems.

Whatever system you choose for your home will give you more confidence in your drinking water.  Having safer water to drink and even wash with is an issue for every home.
